For them, the thing greater than those terrible times was the great American dream. They dreamed of a better, richer, and happier life. In the rural community of my childhood everyone had guns and there was no gun control issue. I now live near Chicago where guns are illegal. The Supreme Court may change that soon. He just got spanked by the House Ethics Committee for letting corporations pay his way to a Caribbean conference.
