“It’s the economy stupid” was the mantra of the first presidential election in the 90′s. Only the threat of war could trump the economy as the most important issue at election time. Abortion, gay rights, and other social issues will never carry the weight of the economy. It will be bigger than ever this fall, but I bet you can’t guess the most important number. (more…)

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010The Obama administration has decided to pursue charges against BP for the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Is this a good thing? I wonder if they will charge any of the government regulators with crimes? If BP broke the law it had to be with the help of people within government agencies charged with overseeing oil drilling operations. (more…)
