Why Can’t Sequester stop Big Government Waste?

Sunday, March 3rd, 2013

Don’t miss the stat from the Government Accounting Office (GAO). 41% of all purchases on government credit cards is for personal use. Think about that. There must be thousands and maybe tens of thousands of government employees with government issued credit cards. Almost half of the purchases are for personal use.

This sequester mess makes me want to scream. How dare they take away any program for the poor and let this type of waste in government continue. Where is the outrage? Why are we not wearing out the phones and emails of our Congressman? Why are Americans continuing to call for bigger government when this is the result? Government spending has tripled since 2000, please tell me how any program in government has gotten better because of that spending.

The president Obama has no solutions other than raising taxes. He has no problem with corruption, waste, and abuse in government. Republicans may be slammed for being the party of no, I give them a standing ovation.

The politicians and media that say I’m critical of government control because I am racist and ignorant. Ring the bell, I’m ready to fight! (more…)

Who Will Pay the New Taxes?

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Here’s the deal. The economy is sputtering, government spending and debt is out of control, and loads of new taxes are coming. Politicians get re-elected only if they can convince you that someone else is paying. Have you heard of the poop tax? (more…)

How Should the Next Trillion Dollars Be Spent?

Friday, January 29th, 2010

The senate  just approved a plan permitting the government to borrow another 2 trillion dollars. We will now have a total national debt ceiling of 14.3 trillion dollars. I can’t get my mind around how much that really is, but I do have an interesting idea about how to spend the next trillion. (more…)
